Childhood
"My parents taught me that the exact direction of your career isn't what matters most—as long as you work hard and put your heart into what you do."
My background has been strongly shaped by work from an early age. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family taught me the value of hard work and what taking responsibility truly means in practice. For me, the most important thing is that my work has purpose and that I can genuinely make a difference.
My first jobs—if you could even call them jobs—were in my parents' company. I did everything from sorting screws to washing windows. As a child, though, I mostly saw them as fun activities that happened to earn me a little pocket money. At the age of 13, I started working outside the family business and quickly gained experience in a variety of roles: kiosk salesperson, babysitter, customer service representative, camp counselor, waitress, and more. I've played the trumpet and ridden horses for most of my life, which also created many work opportunities as I grew older.

JYSK
"Henna's and my journey together began in 2020."
We first met at a mutual friend's gathering. During our conversation, I mentioned that I had just applied for a summer job at the JYSK store in Ratina. Henna laughed and said she had recently started there as the Store Manager.
I went through the recruitment process, got the job, and we became colleagues. We made an excellent team. When Henna moved on from JYSK to pursue new opportunities, I stayed with the company for a few more years. I progressed from Assistant Store Manager to Concept Coordinator, where our team was responsible for implementing store concepts across Finland. I enjoyed the variety of the role and managing large-scale projects and processes. Then one day, Henna called and told me she had founded Kruunu Media and wanted me to join her. After giving it some thought and making a few arrangements, I decided to take the leap—and I haven't looked back since.
Hobbies & life outside work
"Alongside my career, education has always been important to me."
Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a doctor. However, my path eventually led me through upper secondary school and university of applied sciences studies into the world of business. Today, I am studying for a Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Sales and Marketing. I see my academic studies as an important complement to the practical skills I have gained through working life. I also hope to contribute to the future growth of Kruunu Media through my academic expertise.
Outside of work, I spend much of my time pursuing hobbies and being with the people closest to me. Exercise is essential to my wellbeing, and currently much of my daily life revolves around CrossFit, which I train seriously despite the occasional, rather typical sports injury. My family and friends mean a great deal to me, and I spend as much time with them as possible. We also have two beloved dogs who are an important part of our family. In addition, I enjoy spending time at our summer cottage, traveling, and participating in all kinds of activities that suit my energetic personality. To balance my active lifestyle, I also love relaxing at home. Home is a very important place for me, and one of life's simple pleasures is curling up on the couch in wool socks after a long day.

"In the beginning, my role at Kruunu Media focused mainly on media sales. However, I was also interested in the administrative side of the business and had the opportunity to closely observe Henna's entrepreneurial journey."
As time has passed, I have continuously taken on more responsibility and demonstrated my commitment to contributing to the company's success. Today, I am particularly interested in human resources, financial management, and business development. I love innovation and believe that things should always be done as intelligently and efficiently as possible. On the sales side, I consider my greatest strengths to be B2B sales and building long-term customer relationships. My goal is always to provide clients with solutions that help them succeed.
Henna and I work together exceptionally well. We share a very similar work ethic, motivation, and value system, which makes collaboration effortless. We are striving toward the same goals and are both willing to put in the work required to achieve them. At the same time, we are different enough to challenge one another, which allows us to continuously learn, improve, and grow both individually and as leaders.
