Its a really versatile creature that probably marks you as a threat at almost any EDH table

It's harder to find other homes for it though, but Artifact decks like Daretti, Scrap Savant are heavily reliant on mana rocks that produce colorless mana so Monument is great there too

Rares In order to save time, Im skipping all the cheap rares that I successfully predicted would fall to bulk prices

Haste was obviously also welcome when placed along side the other big creatures in the deck, and the option to sacrifice it for a boost meant that you could usefully cash it in when it was no longer useful or you had multiple copies

It IS an artifact creature, so you can get it with artifact tutoring, and artifact copy effects work with it - but I don't imagine you'd play something like that here
