Using this to buff your creatures and complete Pyromancer's Ascension (Dragon's Approach anyone?) and Luminarch Ascension looks powerful, though building around quest counters seems more niche than good

Magic: The Gathering has had a number of crossovers that expand upon the series' mythos and lore, the introduction of Commander decks which I still can't quite wrap my head around, and a dozen new rules and card types, all of which feel like an entirely new language to someone who just about managed to comprehend it just shy of 20 years ago
Using Enchantments that return to your hand anytime they go to the graveyard is a nice strategy too, as you can get back the Enchantments effect while also making sure you continue to have fuel for Ertais ability
