Im still not ultra impressed here, but I think if youve got lots of creatures in a black deck, playing this seems fine

The alternate art shows a different Carapace armour, this one wrapping around the wielder's head like a helmet and giving him a very cool -- if creepy -- bug-like helmet
Drake Hatcher The combination of a 2-drop 1/3 with vigilance and prowess is good, playing defense and offense
As much as I think the criticism of Modern being a non-interactive format where both players flip over their top ten cards to determine the winner of a given game is overblown, having a deck with the power to compete against the top draws from other archetypes while rarely giving away free games is a comforting place to be
