Ranar the Ever-Watchful is an amazing blink payoff, and I like how the bottom ability is paid off by multiple blink and removal effects in the deck

Its enduring appeal is partly due to its simplicity and the nostalgic connection it fosters with long-time fans

The rest of the deck is still a powerful Izzet Spellslinger list that can still win without any combos, so a few cards in the sideboard lets me depower the deck by swapping out the easy combos

I'll lean into creature-based answers where I can that will serve a double role where possible
