While eight mana can be a bit unwieldy, eight energy to grab it out of the graveyard for a turn for an alpha strike is easy to arrange, and will have huge results if you've got a developed board
it also provides a stronger incentive for people simply looking to flip the cards for a profit to buy them all up
Against a deck with Daze, I like to play out my Lotus Petal early so that its sitting there in play to fight through any Dazes if need be
