My initial reactions to this card are pretty lukewarm

And then you have an additional clause, and you can spend 8 Energy to smack face for 6

So, big creatures, planeswalkers, and/or expensive artifacts all get left alone

Any "as [this land] enters the battlefield" or "[this land] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the chosen permanent will also work
