I wouldnt say its a bad play, but it is still above the baseline of what you really want to be paying for that extra card (2 mana)

In some fashion, every creature in the deck is a Dragon

I dont think this is the most efficient way of interacting with our opponent, but it was a nice plus to a card that otherwise doesnt do much
