Even though Captain Lannery Storm is quite small, you can usually trade it off in combat and be left with a Treasure token to ramp out a much stronger play on the next turn

I'm quite partial to Darksteel Sentinel as it provides a good attacker and blocker that can take your tokens up to 3/3s easily, but you can go as big as Darksteel Colossus and Blightsteel Colossus no problem
We get a decent attacker - 5/5 First Strike - but it's the fact we get to double our damage output while halving anything we take that really makes it
I ended up walking away minus most of my rarer cards, but 900 ($1,202 USD) richer in cash for what, to me, were just some cards Id had in binders tucked away in a box for the past 20 years
