While identifying English cards is relatively easy, there are some difficulties with other languages, especially with German Revised White Border Cards (aka "Unlimitierte Edition" (unlimited edition) - not to be confused with the Unlimited set!)

Card advantage wins games, and it is almost always the best possible top deck turn 1 or turn 50

X to be my attacker, I would use its Poke-Power to replenish my hand and if I could find a Snorlax that needs Snorlax to be asleep to perform a special move I would use that card in my deck and then just use that move

I think we can point to sets that did a good job of engaging people and keeping them in the hobby
