One of the Magneton's moves is based off of a coin flip, and the other move does do above average damage but makes you discard an energy card
As a newer player, I think that I mostly just liked looking at other peoples decks, and almost as the art implies, Thought Erasure was a good window into that
Wild Force has that advantage: its best cards and product identity point in the same direction
That said, the deck also includes a non-ex Magnezone, which also deals a decent amount of damage, and has the ability to block the opponent's Active Pokmon from attacking
The reason this deck works so well is that Magnezone is extremely versatile and it can fit in any deck regardless of the main type, which holds true for Mew Ex and Yanmega Ex as well
