It's the right call for a world people are already invested in, and while I wasn't one of the people who disliked Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon (I actually loved the Lovecraftian twist), I get why it failed to meet some peoples' expectations
Much like the Charmander evolution previously, these cards show how a Pokmon grows alongside its trainer, but the focus is completely kept on not just the boy and his Tepig, but the rest of the family and gives off this feeling that the Pokmon is a part of their family too
Not many decks get access to something as brutal and powerful as The Kami War, so why shouldnt you make use of it here
If youve been playing Standard, none of the banned cards will need any introduction at all
At first glance, this looks like it could be land surrounding water, until you notice the clouds at the base
