Most color pairs in this set have a built-in game plan and specific boxes you need to check for the plan to work consistently
Fair warning: if you pull out Hokori in a lower bracket game, be prepared to lose some friends
It never gained any traction, even though I wanted to try to make it happen
What stands out is their deck-/cube-first workflow: you can submit a decklist/card list or provide your own files, then specify details like finishes, quantities, and special notes (e.g., playtest labeling, set icons)
Theres a stark contrast between having this commander be your finisher (encouraging cheating in large single enchantments) and something like Sythis, despite both being very close in theme
You can use that to produce more tokens with Song of Totentanz and Stolen by the Fae (which are further enhanced by cards like Balmor, Battlemage Captain pumping them) or just do the Fireball thing with reds thousand deals X damage cards
