Or you can mingle those strategies: perhaps you summon a Watchful Radstag early game, which both grows bigger and spits out token copies as you pop out mid-range creatures, then pimp out those tokens with a Canopy Gargantuan and keep Scour the Desert in hand to flood the board with a token army if all else fails
