Still fine in any ramp deck but I do prefer a more aggressive top end card in my creature based proactive ramp decks
Considering how rare it is (regarding sheer numbers in circulation), I'm not surprised to see it atop the list here
At any rate, it will be interesting to see Wizard's explanation for the change when we get to TMNT's time in the MTG release schedule
May I suggest Goblin Cannon, Rocket Launcher, Fleetwheel Cruiser, Goblin Charbelcher, Jade Statue, Phyrexian Processor, Time Bomb, Wand of the Elements, or Whirling Catapult instead
This character was huge with Disney Lorcana fans before, but now that its getting a wealth of support the price of the Enchanted version just keeps rising
(If you want to learn more about Gladiator, and you definitely should, go here!) And since Commander is about doing the most obviously over the top stuff Magic can hold, and Standard frequently becomes about the most blatantly pushed stuff anyhow, this is probably a use-ful theory exercise on watching for the right kinds of cards
