Magic: The Gathering has specific ways it represents story elements through its gameplay, and I'm happy to see that these mechanics were translated so well to create an authentic-feeling Final Fantasy experience that goes much deeper than Cactuar's 9999 damage ability
It's easy to think of them as 'the rest', meaning anything that doesn't fall neatly into Control or Aggro, but this is not quite accurate
All said and done it is still a situational card and often a very poor rip off the top meaning you can't just throw this into a deck without thought and not have it cost you
These are Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Liliana of the Dark Realms, Nissa Who Shakes the World and Chatterfang, Squirrel General
Cards like Aetherspouts , Aetherize , Stormkeld Vanguard , Colossal Skyturtle , Return of the Wildspeaker , Rishkars Expertise , Sea Gate Restoration , Whelming Wave , Clone Legion , and Aminatous Augury can all be fun options depending on your build and budget
Tromell, Seymours Butler Tromell, Seymour's Butler is an interesting +1/+1 counter card, being able to add counters and proliferate them
