As a well-known fan of this little collector Ooze, I do think that it gets dismissed as the worst Companion a little bit too often

In order to overcome the fundamental awkwardness of drawing multiples of such a card, it must either have self-synergy or be so overwhelmingly powerful that if its on the battlefield, your opponent cannot win

This set does have a bunch of different creature tokens, but it still feels like drawing two with this is pretty medium, and expecting more than that is an unreasonable expectation

Putting a -1/-1 counter on a creature every turn is nice, too

The combos with this card are pretty fun
