The MTG Doctor Who Blast from the Past deck brings classic Who into the modern era, featuring classic Doctors, companions, stories, and more

While the theme is great and the deck is easy to learn, the card choices themselves are wanting

A 6/6 uncounterable commander with flash that makes your other creatures uncounterable, and grants them trample is just about as generically good as you can get

In other words, Ochran Assassin on the board can throw an entire strategy off base just by sitting there

Even trying to reserve a few of the cards for building new decks, there are quite a few which deserve to find homes in those 81 decks (although a few of those are the preconstructed ones in their original form, so lets call it 75)

The rare is very powerful here
