this is a cheap white spell that destroys target tapped creature, as well as scrying 2 if the player spent 1 blue mana to cast it
Why this is a good card to keep in your deck is that there are many characters, items, and actions that allow you to look at your top card, or cards, and return them to the deck
Combine that with a color identity that includes one of the best cEDH colors (black, for tutors), and its no wonder this cards a staple at the highest power levels
Simply trading it off with another early game creature and getting two Treasures is well above average
It's old hat now to comment on the power creep of pre-constructed decks, but I played this in my pod against some pretty heavy hitting decks and it held its own until everyone realized it was a real threat - and then I was crumpled
