Its not like that exactly, but as I said about Mirkwood Bats, its easy to sacrifice artifacts nowadays and make this bat warlock huge

However, its the Floodborn cards that I really love

He enjoys pretty much all formats of Magic, but usually ends up playing decks that make other people dislike playing those formats with him.

Ive seen very mixed sentiments about this card, but I actually kind of think its boringly solid but not great (at least until this fall)

At the time of writing, Skymarch Bloodletter and Lichs Caress are two solid commons that have incidental lifegain (among many other cards that gain life)
