Lander Tokens This one is a minor theme, but another new card subtype introduced in Edge of Eternities is Lander Tokens, which can be tapped and sacrificed for 2 mana to find a basic land from your deck to put onto the battlefield tapped
The Waterskin has an activated ability that says : Add one mana of any color. Its ability has one cost listed before the colon (tapping itself), and the effect you get one mana
And if you end up playing her in your main deck, you'll often find yourself with a lackluster 3/2 vigilance creature with a minor ability that doesn't quite measure up to other three-drops
And the lighting of her illusory script that hovers above the scroll gives this minor element the feel of actually being a magical effect or design
