Sapphire/Steel is already a potent color combination, so there's a good chance you can take this deck and turn it into something great

The strategy is pretty simple: make as many Rats as you can and get into the red zone with attacks from all of them

With Basils Twists and Turns ability, every time a card enters your inkwell on your turn, you can pay one ink to have an opponent discard a card

While proving that cards can come off of the Reserved List is a big deal in and of itself, perhaps more important is the reason: Wizards stated, in black and white, that community support for the change made it happen
