Its still a decent deal to grab your opponents 1-power utility creature for 3 mana, but you do generally want to kick this merfolk wizard at least once
Warren Warleader | Illustration by Zack Stella Rabbits are a creature type first introduced in Portal Three Kingdoms , but they werent a regular thing in Magic until around 2020, and weve seen a smattering since (although apparently the moonfolk from Kamigawa are related to rabbits!)
I knew that you probably shouldn't scrape them together because you would get a bunch of holofoil scratches, but card care pretty much meant putting them in nine-pocket sheets at that time
Your creature will deal lethal damage to your opponents creature during the first strike damage step, destroying the attacker before it can deal regular combat damage
And when you combine that with the fact that both sides of the combo (creature, Splinter Twin) are easy to interact with, you start to see that it was never that big of a deal
