If you're playing CEDH and trying to win on turn three it's a massive problem because you need essentially every land to come into play untapped, but in more casual games the drawback is negligible especially compared to the upside of having powerful spells in your land slot
As such a vital part of Magic, lands are arguably the most important card type in the game, so knowing which are the best can give you an edge over your opponents

While it can be fun to pick up an under-represented type say, salamanders and try to carry it to the top, I actually find these elite typal decks to be the most fun
Of course, if this spell explodes in an aggro deck, it will literally be a finishing card, but the problem is that if the aggro deck is in a situation where it uses this spell, it means that it can win without using this spell, or is essentially the same as losing (...).[6] It was only used in the Commander Naya deck, but a better card called Craterhoof Giant Monster was released for this purpose
