"Do this only once each turn" refers only to the ability it is attached to, not other instances of the same ability
The number of cards in your deck that accomplish the same or similar goals make disrupting Izzet Lessons hard, due to them having so many copies of cheap cards that accomplish similar tasks
Heres that list, in order of how often I used them over the last year: Tokens Treasure Monarch Food Clue 3/3 Beast (and/or Elephant) 1/1 Human 4/4 Angel 0/1 Plant 1/1 Thopter 1/1 Snake 1/1 Bird 1/1 Saproling 1/1 Goblin Counters and Accessories Life (Lifetap app or d100 Dial) Commander Damage (Lifetap app or d20s) Poison (Lifetap app or d10s) +1/+1 (d6) Loyalty (d10 or d12) Sagas (d6) Coin (or any even-sided die) Slime, -1/-1 (d6 of an alt color) Shield, Goaded, Stun, Keyword Counters, etc
My only complaint with Ojutai is the same with Silumgar what is mindburst
Your options are mostly to draw The Eternal Wanderer (where you'll keep phasing the Forge out, and hope they don't draw a second copy) or hope you can overwhelm them with Virtue of Loyalty
