Its one of the top decks in the game if someone wants to gamble
Basically, The Filigree Sylex doesnt really change anything in Modern because Ratchet Bomb already exists and the cards are so similar, but it is more or less guaranteed to see play in Modern as a very, very slightly upgraded version of Ratchet Bomb
Since this is a deck that basically competes with the visible number of moves, I think it was a big step forward for me to be able to build it in a way that incorporates recovery methods when countered (not relying solely on Luciela for win conditions, ways to recover when banished, etc.)
Unfortunately, the original color palettes are typically more visually clear and thus more appealing than versions like this
These two cards are going to be your primary attackers, as they are the ones that can easily rack up +1/+1 counters to deal large outbursts of damage
If you solely care about defending, you can also check out Dragons Eye Sentry, Novice Knight, or Resolute Watchdog
