With so many dragons in a single set, we have a simple mechanic to ease these 5+ mana value cards into a regular deck curve: Omens
Its card draw effect is shared with the table, so you can create multiple tokens, power existing ones up to start whittling down life totals, or both
While the idea that lots of cards will be included in the set might sound appealing, sheer quantity isn't directly compatible with Double Feature's draft-focused design
LC - Selfdestruct (40) Effect: Does 10 damage to each Pokemon on each player's Bench
Combine all this with an easier quest system, where you can complete your objectives (things like "knock out 3 Basic Pokmon") in normal play, and you get into the meat of the game immediately
With a commander like Brago, King Eternal, you can even create infinite blinks if your mana rocks make 2 or more mana when they re-enter, letting you repeat your best effects over and over until your opponents concede
