According to Disney Lorcana co-designer Steve Warner, who told Wargamer a little more about the new cards, Vanishing has allowed the designers to push the boat out when it comes to what a Lorcana card can do, and how much it has to cost
(Though thats definitely part of it.) While comparisons to Magic: The Gathering are easy - there are a number of keywords with specific in-game effects, cards battle using two key values for their attack strength and health, and you can gradually play bigger cards as you build up your stock of in-game resource - Lorcana doesnt just whack a set of Mickey Mouse ears on the veteran TCG

If a token is shuffled into a player's library this way, that player shuffles before revealing the top card of that library
