While having Pauper, Modern, Vintage and Legacy (often with both competitive and friendly options) along with several limited events, PTQ's and format challenges is great for established players, for a new player who is just learning the game it's just another layer of confusion, and confusion for no real gain since new players aren't going to jump into 90% of the queues anyway
