I like this in the various Rakdos Aggro and Midrange decks that either dont care about their life total (Deaths Shadow) or plan on gaining back a bunch of life (Sheoldred, the Apocalypse)

Playing three colors usually puts you out of contention of playing Field of Ruin

Still, this is a big dragon and the ability isnt completely irrelevant

The card was legal as a four-of all the way up to April of 1995, when Standard was first invented

Rating: 3/5 Improvise This card really only fits in an "action matters" deck and I don't think that deck is going to be any good, so it's probably trash

In Standard, 2-color decks probably want three or four copies, while other decks want at least one or two copies of the creature lands they can play, and the same can be said for EDH decks
