While his stats are beefy, hes still a vanilla card with no effect, so hes not very popular among players, but he does still get some fringe play in certain Steel decks because, at the end of the day, big stats are big stats, and its nice to have a big dude to play if the game goes long

I don't think there are archetypes in this set but I maybe wrong on this one

It's pretty bad news if your opponent kills this after he forces you to bounce a land, but if they don't kill him, he does make sure you don't fall behind on mana because he lets you play extra lands
