If Ride the Shoopuf becomes a creature but you haven't controlled it continuously since your most recent turn began, you won't be able to attack with it that turn
At just 2 mana, it asks you to already have a creature with power 4 or greater, but in return it delivers a flying copy that can immediately pressure life totals or planeswalkers
Some cards, like Massive Raid, can unleash powerful effects just by having enough creatures on the board
Yet it's still not the best artifact/enchantment assassin in the game
Even better is the card's second ability: at the start of your end step, you gain control of a non-land permanent controlled by a player who was dealt combat damage by three or more pirates on this turn
