Updated on November 29, 2023, by Johnny Garcia : There are many sets being released on a yearly basis, and since Commander allows for every card in all sets to be legal (barring illegal and banned cards), the card pool is the biggest of almost every other format
Lastly, I want to mention that the art on the card (done by Ron Spencer) is phenomenal
Honorable Mentions: Many, Many Mana Rocks Commander decks are chock-full of mana rocks it's not too far of a stretch to say that its deck-building rules are all decks must include one commander, one Sol Ring, one Arcane Signet, and 97 other cards. For that reason, with just a couple of exceptions, I'll leave mana rocks out of this ranking
The Commander 2011 decks are worth $100+ each, and the Commander 2014 (single-colored) decks sell above retail as a set
While controlling another player, you make all choices and decisions that player is allowed to make or is told to make during that turn
This is better since the front side is more feasible, and then the cycle here gives you Pilots with better power for mounting and crewing
