There are plenty of creatures in Grand Larceny that either have evasive keywords like menace or flying, or flat-out can't be blocked (like Slither Blade and Silhana Ledgewalker)

Shocks are well designed with a real cost for coming into play untapped - much better than OG duals which are essentially unconditionally better than basics

Some of these decks have excellent alternate Commander options or upgrade potential, but were squarely focused on how a deck plays out of the box, as well as how unique it is

Cards like Scavenging Ooze come to mind: in the early game, its very easy to put a single counter on it, and in the late game, its a must-answer threat that we can struggle to address
