Combining the two ultimately helps create such a unique card whose rarity only heightens its value in the market, as collectors everywhere will no doubt try to get their hands on one
This is a bit of a tangent, but I personally rate Hydroblast and Blue Elemental Blast, which are the counterparts to these cards, as not bad in the current environment
