The event is free to attend, requires no reservation, and will proceed rain or shine
However, I would only play as long as I had quests to do, as soon as I finished all the quests I had to stop playing and only come back the next day for the same procedure
However, while Mega Evolutions are incredibly strong Pokemon, losing them in a match is more punishing, as one down means applying the 3-prize rule instead of the usual 1 or 2
