This deck has some interesting decision points and isn't a linear strategy, but it's also not the most complicated out there - and that's important for a beginner deck

With just one target he is very hit and miss and even at two he will still miss finding something often enough to be annoying

I already mentioned Black Sun's Zenith, but Darkness DescendsDarkness Descends also gets the job done in a pinch
