This artwork is incredibly nostalgic to me, as Ken worked on some of the most influential Pokmon cards ever made, such as Blastoise and Mewtwo from the original base set (two of my favourite Pokmon)

Its partly due to their historical significance that the Pokmon Illustrator cards are so valued

However, these decks have a phenomenal piece of utility to work around retreat locking, which is especially important in the current meta

Rather than boasting a typical landscape, this card features a gateway implemented with various advanced and bustling machines towering over a simple brick path

While there are ways around having to pay the full cost, it would be much easier to lower the cost overall
