Under proper magnification, real Magic cards reveal a rosette pattern in the colored areas, and the text is made of crisp, tiny dots, often layered in complex ways
This is, in theory, a great catch-up tool for Mono-Black midrange against faster strategies
However, I really dont get this design
Careful Study was good enough to be played in decks where you could abuse the discard, Faithless Looting is good enough that you can play it in most red decks regardless
You won't be using Scheming Symmetry to trick an opponent into putting a juicy card on top of their library and you certainly won't be cheating Sheoldred, Whispering One, Sepulchral Primordial or Void Winnower into play with Gyruda
