The deck is already soft to board wipes and interaction, so Id like to reduce that aspect of the deck a smidge and bolster what we came here for in the first place: merfolk support

That ability pairs eminently well with a creature with a super-strong attack trigger such as the milling abilities of Lord Xander, the Collector, or Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
