With all sorts of ways to tap down creatures, with cards like Sleep, Opposition, and Timin, Youthful Geist, you have a plethora of cards to not only lock down your opponents, but to provide tons of board presence and card advantage over the course of the game

While I wouldn't be surprised to see Slivers get there in Historic eventually, we probably need another Sliver set or two to make it happen (although they do rank a tier above Squirrels because at least there are enough Slivers to make a functional deck)

You can't try to pay it multiple times to get more token copies
