I'm so impressed with this card

By hitting Mana Crypt, Jeweled Lotus, and Dockside Extortionist players will have fewer combinations of cards and draws that allow a player to get to five mana or more on the second turn

So long as Myrel is in play, your opponent cannot cast spells or activate the abilities of artifacts, creatures, or enchantments during your turn

However, there are a few solid cards included in this deck list, including the highly effective Dual-Ink Giant Cobra character which is currently Amethyst/Steels Dual-Ink card of choice

Underworld Breach gets you to a similar place through a different door

On the other hand this seems like a very polished list and you probably know by now if aerie is actually good or not :) Coat of Arms is another possible finisher
