Speed, survival, and web-slinging each want your creatures to deal damage and last beyond the combat phase, and it so happens that evasion also greatly reduces your opponent's ability to kill attacking creatures with combat damage
Start with the amount of damage being dealt to the creature and determine what is "lethal." This is usually the creature's toughness minus the amount of damage that it already has marked on it, but ignoring any replacement or prevention effects that will modify this damage
In this case, the coin flip works as a generalized board wipe, which you can counter by simply playing a typal deck that aligns with this cards effect: demons, devils, and imps
