This is a really great card for most blue decks but works really well in graveyard based decks

Shockingly, another card that lets you pay life or sacrifice creatures instead of paying its cost has been known to break formats

You can cast Black Sun's Twilight without a target (presumably with X equal to 5 or more) just to return a creature card

Removing lore counters won't cause a previous chapter ability to trigger

In Commander, though, you usually control your commander when casting it, which means you get both effects at once

Id slip it into a deck with some ways to recoup your life, and potentially ways to reset it by bouncing it, such as Master Transmuter, or blinking it, such as Teleportation Circle
