If you dont know, beginning in 1999 you had a small chance of any regular card in your MTG booster pack being replaced with a shiny foil version of that card instead
Blue is the most common control color (and the color of permission spells), but not all control decks are blue
You can't choose a different host, but you can activate augment again if there's another host available
Although this effect does have a practical purpose within the game, it ultimately served moreso to just annoy your opponents, which is ultimately what lead to the card being completely banned
Though the card fronts and backs have undergone numerous redesigns over the years (see our UniVersus card back design guide for more insight), its important to know that even the oldest cards, from franchises such as Capcoms Street Fighter and popular webcomic Penny Arcade, are still compatible with more recent sets, such as Cowboy Bebop or Trigun Stampede (pictured above)
