Divination is a 1.5 level card a lot of the time and thats what the base form of this card is - not adding to the board is rough, but getting a 2-for-1 is nice, and this has the potential to only cost a single mana in the later stages of the game, which is pretty amazing
Mistrise Village can arrive untapped often and then taps with one to stop a counter
It's also better if you are making token creatures too
We'll maximize the value of our tokens a few different ways: We can ramp up the damage of our Devil's attack and ping triggers with cards like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Embermaw Hellion, and Fiery Emancipation, turning our weak-looking Devils into scary threats that can blow up opposing creatures or opponents' faces
While this is a fairly inconsistent ability, the fact that you receive a Clue as a consolation prize if your opponent wins the game creates a powerful synergy with Ace
Each one features a cost, its effects, its name, artwork and often very little more
