We cant get away from the fact that many of the cards that once would have made this set a slam dunk just dont pull their weight in modern Magic, but probably needed to be included due to how iconic they are

If you dig a little deeper though, I actually think this effect is really strong

Thryx, the Sudden Storm Thryx, the Sudden Storm may not be the biggest or most synergistic giant commander, but it is wildly efficient

Temporal Distortion + Contagion Clasp == everyone else might as well concede

Demonic Tutor Whatever you need Demonic Tutor is a two-mana sorcery that reads: Search your library for a card, put that card into your hand, then shuffle. While this card can be cast on turn two to get a turn three play, its a card that becomes more and more useful the longer the game goes on as long as your deck has good cards in it for every situation
