They are themed to a particular Planeswalker and are preconstructed decks that tend to make use of mechanical elements found within the related set

Everyone but the controlling player, obviously, but that makes it all the better

Being able to move those key elements from one format to the other can be challenging, but Wizards of the Coast has put a lot of work into ensuring this is a seamless transition

It seems to me that making this an instant was just a bad idea, but the card was a bad idea anyhow, especially at the time, where they were experimenting with mana and making tons of mana was just par for the course, which made the whole thing much worse

Its not good enough to build a whole snow zombie deck around it
