Fully self-contained, Illumineers Quest: Deep Trouble has two pre-constructed decks, so either two players can take on the Sea Witch herself, or one player can choose the deck they want to use against the evil Queen of the ocean
A player chooses which of his cards he wants to put in his 60-card deck, so he has full control over what cards he can expect to see and how he wants his deck to work
Now, you can shred your opponents hand multiple times on turn one, either by evoking Grief and casting a discard spell or by pairing it with cards like Ephemerate or Malakir Rebirth
The latter seems innocuous and isnt highly taken, but is downright nasty combined with Fetid Gargantua or with sagas
This does sound merciful at first, but once you realise there are a few different Ex cards across the Solgaleo and Lunala packs for Celestial Guaridans the celebrations may be short lived
