You can continue tapping creatures to station it afterward, which wont boost the Sweeper itself, but it helps fuel several cards in the set that care about tapped creatures
Stacking power buffs and tossing around keywords are great for a commander to offer, and Jetmirs fairly cheap for its abilities and power/toughness
While they are very powerful discard effects they don't do other things that easily fit into normal decks
